The below custom ring is made from platinum and 18K yellow gold, there is no problem growing complex models and the finished product will assemble with greater ease.

Unlike other rp machines (3D Systems Invision HR and Envision Perfactory) no liquid mold is needed prior to casting. This is because the Solidscape Patternmaster, t66, t612 and modelmaker machines deliver crisp direct cast models. I have made direct rp machine comparisons using the same cad file. With the other rp machines to achieve excellent casting you make a liquid mold prior to casting. Not only does the mold process take a full day to cure but you loose a generation of quality. Then you must cut the mold open and make a wax copy using jewelers wax. Then this new wax model is what is used for the casting process.

Neither cnc milling, the Invision Hr nor the Envision Perfactory can make models this detailed that will give you these high quality finished results.
